Goodbye...Again.

Wed Nov 16, 2005, 6:41 AM
Last time I left, I claimed I'd never come back, but then I did almost a year later. Well, not this time. See this? This is me removing the dA link from my Netscape link bar. This is me removing everything, including friends, watched artists, and clubs, from my account. Sorry guys, but I'm done. I'm not even going to be watching other people's art here anymore, which really makes me sad, because I was watching a ton of kick-ass artists here. I'm not going to waste my time by visiting this place. I. Am. Done. I will never visit this site again. I won't even see any comments on this journal, because once I hit the "Add" button, I'm logging off here and never looking back, so you all go ahead and spam my page and leave me nasty flames if you want; I'll never see 'em. You want to keep tabs on me, you visit my SheezyArt page; I'm still Jyoshiki over there.

Thank you, Spencer, for reminding me of another reason why I hated and left this place to begin with.

I wouldn't have had a problem with this if they hadn't made the damn thing into a print, because hey, it's this guy's opinion and everyone's entitled to one; that's fine, I don't care if he hates SheezyArt. I would have overlooked the fact the this hypocrite is saying how people aren't respecting his opinion, and then goes and bashes them for sticking up for SA. In fact, I would have even overlooked the fact that the dA admins aren't banning this idiot again for his rude behavior and blantant flaming towards those against him, because that's exactly the kind of backward logic that I expect from these people who run dA. Ban the flamers and spammers, but praise those who do it in the name of deviantART. Whatever.

But the fact that they made this a print and featured it in the Daily Prints just gets me going. That's not only encouraging this kind of hatred, but rewarding and, as Spencer put it, protecting it, too.

You know, if it was switched around, and this same thing happened on SA and it was SA as the young girl and dA as the saggy old lady, I'd get a laugh out of it and agree (because I did smirk at the guy's idea...I was just offended at seeing a saggy old lady in a pink bikini at 8 o'clock in the morning XD), but I'd still be severely pissed at the admins if they made it into a print (if Sheezy ever set up a print account, anyway). deviantART and I have been on thin ice for a long time anyway; even when I started posting art here again, it didn't feel right anymore.

I seriously wish we were allowed to delete our accounts, but we're not because dA likes to "preserve all accounts, and their activity, for historical purposes." Uh-huh.

I can't think of anything else to put here, so...this is it.

See ya.
